Q: Can the building be later expanded?
A: Yes, of course! This is one of the main advantages of steel buildings. Since the system is modular and bolted, it is actually quite simple and cost-effective to remove the end wall to add another bay (extend the length) in comparison with concrete or wood structures.
Q: How is the building fixed to the ground?
A: The steel columns are fixed basically by anchor bolts going through a concrete base. We provide precise Foundation Drawings showing the location and the load of each anchor bolt that you can give to your local concrete contractor for them to prepare the foundation even before the building delivery.
